As a team, Jihye and John wield their perfectly complementary skill sets and interests in service of their clients’ goals. Jihye grew up in South Korea and immigrated to the U.S. when she was 13, and John is a native Houstonian.  Although they had similar interests throughout their younger years – in academics, sports and their respective family businesses – the two didn’t meet until joining one of the Big Four accounting firms KPMG after college.  They each had different career paths since then, but ultimately both of them left the corporate world to pursue their passion in real estate.

As licensed agents and collaborative partners in both life and business, the couple relies on their ability to address client needs seamlessly. Jihye keeps her finger on the pulse of the market, which makes her highly adept at pricing strategies, and she’s also a skilled people person who easily connects with clients and stakeholders. Thanks to his finance and construction background, John is proficient at reviewing inspection reports, surveys and title documents to make sure clients are well-informed in all steps of the process and that deals don’t fall apart over insignificant things.

They are both avid runners, with Jihye having completed the Boston Marathon and a 50-miler ultra and John having completed multiple marathons and Ironman Texas.  They have two young boys and love to try new restaurants around the city.  One of the things they love the most about their job is the number of clients who have turned into friends.
